GIANT'S KETTLE

Supervision by Uta Koloczek

Giant’s kettle is a phenomenon that occurred under the big ice, during the ice age. Rocks got stuck under the ice, and with help of water streams and gravel, holes were created.

These holes are common in the archipelago of the Swedish west coast where I grew up. These holes were my inspiration when designing these porcelain tea kettles. The size a bit bigger, because the word ‘Giants’ Kettle.
